The "heartbeat" law took effect Wednesday. It effectively bars most abortions in Texas after six weeks of pregnancy — when many women still have yet to discover they are pregnant. Do you agree with this law?

The Texas law is unusual in that it prohibits the state from enforcing the ban but allows anyone to sue a person they believe is providing an abortion or assisting someone in getting an abortion after six weeks. People who successfully sue an abortion provider under this law could be awarded at least $10,000. Regardless of your stance on abortion, do you agree with this portion of the law?
