When you travel, as a senior, there are many benefits and discounts available. Air Canada, for example offers 10% off base fares before taxes and surcharges and many hotels offer discounts on room rates, and some chains, such as Fairmont Hotels even give seniors meal credits. If you are a senior, have you ever travelled using any kind of senior travel benefit?

There's a big discrepancy in what constitutes a "Senior", with some places going with the "65" age, and others range from 50 and older. Some places ask for some sort of identification, while others do not. Have you ever been given the senior discount when you are not technically eligible, and if so, how did that make you feel?
