The tale -Adam Salton finds himself at the center of mysterious events, with Sir Nathaniel de Salis. A large snake-like creature dwelling deep under the house of Arabella Marsh, who seems to have her own plans. Odd question, but ever have a case you and a friend experienced something rather strange?

The movie - as stated, in 1988, Ken Russell directed an adaptation of this. (Most all pics and the video from it). Names and plot not quite the same, such as "D'Ampton" instead of Lambton. The take can be campy / erotic which was not part of the original book. Anyone own a snake(s) for a pet?

Other beasties? Many areas have legends of a creature, spirit, or something of past perhaps still present. (One in the pic supposedly living in Lake Champlain, Michigan I heard of while there). Have you heard such tales where you are? If so, feel free to let us know in replies.
