Bunch Of Believers (or B.O.B.) were a late 1990's Christian cartoon (or depicted as such) third wave Christian ska band responsible for two albums before disbanding or shelved. Before reading this question, had you ever heard of them?

Per this survey's title, I'm assuming B.o.B.'s music was intended primary for children, though ska was an especially fertile sound for Christian bands intending to appeal to teens and young adults through the latter half of the 1990's as well; some, such as The O.C. Supertones and Five Irony Frenzy, garnered acclaim and coverage in the overall ska scene of the time and on non-Christian media. But, when you see or hear of a band ("band"?) depicted as cartoon characters, do you automatically assume their music is made for kids?

It may be weird enough for a contemporary Christian music record company to put together a cartoon band to capitalize on what was a relatively short-lived musical trend in mainstream culture. Weirder still to me is its cartoon element, the look of which appears to be lifted from South Park. The long-running television series may have children for many of its main characters, but its content is decidedly for adult viewers. Based on the music video and graphics accompanying the previous two questions, do you see the resemblance between B.o.B.'s cartoon imagery and the look of South Park?

The creators of South Park may have done so without my having recall it (I watched the show regularly for its first several seasons), but do you think it could have been amusing for B.o.B. to have made an appearance on the show, or at least ha been spoofed in an episode?
Yes (so lomg as it would not have been blaspemous to the band's spiritiality)

A greater concern, at least for me (albeit over a quarter-century after the fact) is that B.o.B.'s approach to Christianity-proclaiming artistry ostensibly meant for children trivializes the music's spiritual element. It's not only the cartoon element in their approach that confounds or troubles me, but, as referenced in the previous two questions, it's the style of cartoon, one appropriated from a decidedly Christianity-unfriendly source. Whether you have any affinity for Christianity and its God, do you see how mine are legitimate concerns, especially at the time B.o.B. were popular to whatever extent they were?
