Since I'm an apartment dweller without a freezer other than that which is part of my refrigerator, I'm not apt to buy meat (or other protein sources) in very large quantities. How about you?
I'm in a similar position with limited freezer space.

I could fit a large allotment of meat, etc. in my freezer space with some rearranging of what's already in there (or eating some of it or otherwise there myself of give some dof it away)

I've as much freezer space to buy however much meat, etc. as I want and keep it frozen, short of any power outages, long as I see fit.

I was recently presented with a challenge to my refrigerator's freezer capacity. At my latest visit to a monthly, church-sponsored pop-up food pantry ($25 for at least $100 worth of grub, no income restrictions for participation), among the items being doled out was--as you might have guessed already if you read this survey's title--a 25-pound box of bacon. If you buy bacon, even of a vegan or vegetarian sort, have you ever purchased that much of it at one time?
Yes (perhaps regularly)

Maybe I'm rare among omnivorous U.S. men, but I'm not bacon-crazed as some guys I know. I enjoy it, especially in the often-thick strips and end pieces in my pantry purchase, but it's nothing I've never c r a v e d either. Where do you stand with bacon (again, it needn't be made of porkr)?
Love it!

Partly because my kitchenette counter space is only somewhat more spacious than that I have for feeezing things, how I've been prearing portions of my bacon bounty have been somewhat limited. I've been mostly placing pieces of it in my George Foreman grill and nearly charring them. This also eliminates much of meat's fat; it also gives me the base for red eye gravy, if ever I want to save the drippings and add some coffee (and other ingredients?) to it. If you've a favorite way of preparing bacon, how about sharing at least one way you like it in a comment below?
Yes, will do.

I've eaten bacon nearly daily since having a volunteer from the pantry's sponsoring congregation place that ginormous box of it in my car's trunk. I've yet to tire of it and foresee the bacon spree of my diet lastuing at least a couple more monthss. Could you or do you eat the same meat'/protein source every day for at least a two-week stretch?
