1. The multiplication puzzle. Answer E = 5. No other value for E times any other number will give EEEEEE - try it! Once you have that you can calculate all the rest.

2. The number pyramid. The Answer is 3. Going from the lowest row, one row at a time, add the numbers in the adjacent cells. The number in the next row cell is the unit's (right digit) value of the sum of the previous rows touching cells. For example 9 + 8 = 17 which gives you the 7 in the 2nd row above. The 8 + 7 = 15 gives you the 5 in the 2nd row and the 7 + 9 = 16 which gives you the 6 in the 2nd row above. If you are confident you have detected the formula you can actually skip the next row of calculations and just add the 3rd row to give you the answer in the 4th row. If you are not convinced, confirm by completing the addition of row 2 to give you row 3.

3. The circle puzzle. The Answer is 1. The multiplication of the vertically aligned numbers is the same process for each circle. For example in the top right circle 15 divided by 5 = 3. Then 21 divided by 3 =7. So in the top left circle 8 divided by 4 = 2 Then 2 divided by 2 = 1.
