The Skyway. For 40 years this aerial form of transportation took passengers back and forth between Fantasyland and Tomorrowland. It ceased to run in 1994, as the buckets were deemed not compliant with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).

The Mine Train through Nature's Wonderland. Many people may not realize, but this locomotive that debuted in 1956 is basically where Big Thunder Mountain Railroad got its start. It took guests all over Frontierland and was great for sight seeing, until it was officially retired in 1977.

Honey, I Shrunk the Audience. This 3D attraction was based on the cheesy 80s movie (Honey, I Shrunk the Kids). It had a good run until 2014, and now the theater sits empty.

Body Wars. Once a main feature of Disney's Epcot Center, this 3D ride was based on the premise that scientists could one day shrink themselves and enter the human body to study it. Over the years it declined in popularity (many complained of motion sickness) and was closed down in 2006.

Maelstrom. This Norwegian themed boat ride has been a favorite at Epcot since the 80s. It was closed in 2014 to make way for a Frozen themed attraction. Many fans were furious, as they preferred the old days when the park was about learning of other cultures, not showcasing Disney films.

Flight to the Moon. This simulation ride opened in 1967 and allowed visitors to experience what it might be like to....well...fly to the moon. It had to be updated in 1975, as we HAD indeed been to the moon by then. Thus, Mission to Mars was born. In 1992 the whole thing was scrapped and a pizza place put up in its place.
