Results: HELP!!! Pain, anxiety, addiction, depression and accidents

I have been through A LOT this past year and a half and having a hard time coping, it's as if God allows one more bad thing to happen to me just as the other one goes away. Could use some good coping sklills!

I have been through a car accident where my nose was broke and two ribs, another man driving, I had surgery removing cancer, I was raped, been homeless, I have had kidney failure, depression, alcoholism, sobriety, then drug addiction, I have been domestically abused, he broke my pelvis in two spots, broke two vertebrae another time which has caused sever nerve damage, black eye, concussions, thrown off a boat, thrown out of a car, fractured bone in my foot as he backed over me, I have been raped, I have been pregnant, had a miscarriage and now just fell and broke a rib. I have not been able to work through all of this which I miss terribly, I used to waitress and adore people and spent the last two days crying, I was just getting better, improving my pelvis so I could exercise and do things again and now I am laid up AGAIN. I have not had an income in over a year and it's scary. I go to treatment for my addictions and am tested often, I go to counseling etc. I feel as if since I turned 40 there is noting but bad. Do you believe things like this happen because of bad choices or rebelling or just a fluke?

I struggle understanding all of this, I've never been in an abusive relationship in my life or broke a bone until now. Have you experienced a string of challenges like these?

I struggle with each injury, or downfall, or whatever the case may be at the time and now suddenly I am back to not being able to dress myself , my nerves are so bad shooting down into my hands that typing and writing hurt so bad, now with the rib, breathing, moving, coughing, sneezing...OMG. I was walking, started physical therapy, and lifting weights but now again all of that is on hold. Have you been through similar? In the comments: and how did you cope physically/How about mentally?

Without the use of my hand which I love to write, draw, paint, etc and hardly being able to move , I feel helpless, depressed , at times feel like giving up, also because of my addiction I am not allowed pain killers through any of this. I am frustrated with doctors, I mean I am always up front and honest about addictions because I don't wish to go back but the thoughts are sure there right now! Do you know any other ways to relieve SEVERE , shooting sharp pain or numb hands that ache and hurt to do anything, even my make up or hair?
