Results: Apeirophobia (fear of infinity, eternity, or non-existence)
Published on 06/04/2017
Apeirophobia can occur when someone goes to sleep or enters a deep, meditative state of mind. When it happens, they slip into an endless void of nothingness and a state of suspended paralyzing fear. There is no concept of reality or time. It turns into a panic-stricken effort to even remember their name and earthly identity. People who have gone through this isolating experience felt utterly helpless and describe it as very frightening and unsettling.
