Growing up in a small town we had lots of access to outdoor swimming options, lakes, ponds, etc, but we only had one pool for the whole town. Just about every kid in town took swimming lesson there under the Red Cross program for swimming safety. Do you remember this program?

The badges started at yellow level which was learning basic rules, swimming in the shallow end to white which would teach water sport safety and rescue breathing. Which level did you get to?
