1. Pope Francis, the first non-European head of the Roman Catholic Church in more than a millennium, died at age 88. "His entire life was dedicated to the service of the Lord and of His Church. He taught us to live the values of the Gospel with fidelity, courage, and universal love, especially in favor of the poorest and most marginalized. With immense gratitude for his example as a true disciple of the Lord Jesus, we commend the soul of Pope Francis to the infinite merciful love of the One and Triune God." said Cardinal Kevin Farrell. How would you describe Pope Francis's impact on the world?

2. Do you think Pope Francis moved the Catholic Church in the right direction?

3. Only baptized Roman Catholic men are eligible to be elected Pope, and in practice, it's almost always a cardinal. The Church permits only men to be ordained as priests, based on the tradition that Jesus's twelve disciples were all male. However, some advocate for female ordination, arguing that both men and women are made in the image of God and are equal in His eyes. Do you think women should be allowed to become priests—and eventually be eligible for the papacy?

4. Following the passing of Pope Francis, two prominent cardinals from the United States could be in the running to be the next leader of the global church. Cardinal Joseph Tobin, 72, a close ally of Pope Francis and advocate for immigrants and LGBTQ inclusion, has championed progressive Church values, suggested openness to women's ordination, and currently serves on the Church's highest court. Cardinal Raymond Burke, 76, a traditionalist appointed by Pope Benedict XVI, has frequently clashed with Pope Francis, lost key roles under his leadership, and remains a vocal opponent of modernizing Church practices, including LGBTQ inclusion and use of non-Latin Mass. Would you like to see either of them be the next Pope?
