Results: Christmas lights!

Every year a drive through Christmas light display is setup for the month of December in my city. The lights vary a little from year to year but they are essentially the same. Still a fun time for the family to pack into the vehicle and a great yearly tradition. Do you have a light display like this where you live?

Another yearly tradition is something called the Holiday Train. Once a year a train fully decked out with lights travels across parts of Canada, collecting food donations and entertaining crowds with lights and live music. It makes a stop for about an hour before moving onto the next location. Do you have something like this where you live?

Someone created a Christmas decoration map in our city of Facebook. It is an interactive map that tells you where all the nicely decorated houses are, which ones have music and fancier displays and which have donation boxes for fundraising. It is great fun to drive around with the family enjoying the hard work that some put into their holiday displays. Do you have a Christmas decoration map where you live?

One thing that i regret missing out on this year, mostly due to being sick for most of the holidays, but also because my kids are older now and put in less effort to participate in family events, is sliding/tobogganning. We have a few decent sliding hills in and around our city. Did you do any outdoor winter activities this holiday season?
