Staff at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier in Canberra, Australia finally discovered why so many poppies were missing when they spotted a pigeon's new home near a stained glass window at The Australian War Memorial. The pigeon had been "stealing" poppies to build its nest, and the results were quite impressive and definitely patriotic. Once the pigeon has finished with its nest, it will be cleared.
