Gold has always been a symbol of wealth, tradition, and cultural significance in India, particularly among the women. The deep-rooted connection between Indian women and gold jewellery is most evident during weddings, where gold forms an integral part of the celebrations. Whether as intricate bridal jewellery or simple gold bars, gold gifting is central to Indian customs. Indian women collectively hold a staggering 24,000 tons of gold, or 11% of the world's gold, surpassing the reserves of the top five countries combined: United States: 8,000 tons Germany: 3,300 tons Italy: 2,450 tons France: 2,400 tons Russia: 1,900 tons. Royal births were once public events. Queens labored, and gave birth in front of hundreds of courtiers and officials to ensure the newborn's identity was legitimate. While this tradition has largely faded in modern times, it persisted for centuries in many European royal families. The last publicly attended royal birth was that of Princess Alexandra, the Queen's cousin, in 1936. The Home Secretary, John Simon, was present at the birth for purposes of verification, marking the final instance of this custom. If you had a baby, except for medical professionals, how many were there with you?

In 2012, bees at a cluster of apiaries in northeastern France began producing honey in mysterious shades of blue and green, alarming their keepers. They soon discovered that a biogas plant 4 km (2.5 miles) away had been processing waste from a Mars plant producing M&M's, in bright red, yellow, brown and -- of course --green and blue shells. The M&M plant took action to address this problem, and soon after, the sticky situation was resolved. Honey gets its color from the pollen that a hive gathers to make it. Because plants blossom at different times of year and bees collect honey nearly year-round, a single hive can produce radically different colors of honey from season to season - - though, rarely colors like blue or green. Have you ever seen honey in an unusual color?

The Finnish people can take a joke. However, in 2005, Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi took it too far, insulting Finnish food. Kotipizza, the largest pizza restaurant chain in the Nordic countries, didn't take kindly to Berlusconi's insults, so they created the Pizza Berlusconi in 2008. The pizza includes famous Finnish food such as smoked reindeer, tomato, cheese, Finnish chanterelle mushrooms, and red onions. Kotipizza was advertising its Berlusconi pizzas with headlines that read: "97-year-old grandmother bites into Berlusconi" and "Minister stabs Berlusconi with a fork." In the same year, the Pizza Berlusconi won an international pizza contest in New York, beating Italian Americans. Italian officials demanded that Kotipizza remove the Pizza Berlusconi from its menu, but they refused. Do you think the Finnish got the last laugh?
